Swaran Talkies was established in 1961,with the opening film "Pyar hi Pyar".During times of little media coverage,swaran talkies managed to upgrade its image and bagged an award for "Nanak Naam Jahaz hai" by hitting golden jubilee.but the story didnt end there.Early seventies,was the time for more achievements.Silver jubilee award for "Aarzoo"followed by another hit "Nanak Dukhiya Sab Sansaar" was another feather in the cap.
Till date,swaran talkies managed to be the number one cinema hall in town. Not only in movie sector,but as a theater it conducted many shows like "sardool sikander night","jagjit singh night","jaspal bhatti night" and even magic shows by renowned magicians which gained lots of appreciation.
